Patricia has been a fitness instructor teaching a variety of formats for over 15 years, including Pilates, Spinning, Kickboxing, Step, BOSU, Body Pump, Circuit, Outdoor Boot Camp, and Yoga to name a few. She also has over a decade of experience as a mental health counselor and holds a Master’s degree from Pratt Institute. She began her Stott Pilates training over a decade ago in Boston, New York, and Chicago culminating in full certification. She is certified in GYROTONIC, GYROKINESIS, and specialized equipment including the Jumping Stretching Board. Most recently, Patricia completed the comprehensive YogaWorks Yoga teacher training program.
Patricia lived in Chicago from 2002 through 2006 where she managed the East Bank Club Pilates Studio. She also taught for Harpo Studios where she continues to guest instruct. During this time, she appeared in several Chicago magazines and on its ABC affiliate in support of her programs. Patricia moved to California where she helped design and implement the Pilates and GYROTONIC programs at YogaWorks and Bodysattva’s Movement Arts Center, both in Thousand Oaks. She contributed to the design of the highly successful Sculptworks class at YogaWorks. She also teaches fitness classes and Pilates for the Four Seasons Hotel & The California Health and Longevity Institute. She continues to teach pilates, GYROTONIC, and sculpting with special interests in pre/post-natal and post-rehabilitation populations, breast cancer survivors, and several sports-specific indications (including tennis and golf). Patricia is proud to contribute her time annually to the Shape Magazine “Pilates for Pink Program” raising money for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Most recently, Patricia designed a prenatal workout called Belly Beautiful Workout that was taught at Equinox Fitness and now is a DVD.
She is currently in preproduction for her next Postnatal DVD, Belly Beautiful and the Baby.
